The website you are using was launched today. Launched 90% complete, the site will be updated over the next few months to include restricted access to our Management Information System (MIS), which will allow the public to view our maps and review our maintenance operation and conservation details.

In the future, it is intended that the public will be able to also pay their rate bills via this site.

  01/07/2005: Halvergate Marshes.
A new major scheme has been started at Halvergate Marshes to implement a Water Level Management facility.

The scheme is being funded by means of 100% grant aid by Defra as the scheme will ultimately provide protection to the local conservation sites in the area.

  14/04/2005: New Engineer Appointed.
The Consortium are pleased to announce that we have just recruited a new Hydrology Engineer, Tony Goodwin, to look after the Eastern area of Norfolk and to assist John Worfolk, our Principal Engineer, in managing flood and conservation projects throughout the Broads area.

Tony has been working for the Environment Agency for the last few years and him joining us provides additional specialist expertise to our team of in-house engineers.

We take this opportunity to welcome Tony aboard and wish him every success in his new role.
